You will serve as the financial steward for the Department of Translational Research Center, managing sponsored research funds to ensure fiscal integrity and compliance. In this role, you will partner with the Assistant Director and faculty principal investigators to navigate complex financial decisions, ensuring that all grant stipulations and agreements are met. Your work involves developing and preparing grant budget projections, monitoring expenditures and subcontracts, and creating detailed financial reports to track expenses. Additionally, you will play a key part in developing and implementing grant-related policies and procedures that support the department's mission.

Education: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field preferred.
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field. 2+ years experience managing grant accounts in an academic environment. Knowledge of grants and contracts administration, including federal regulations and compliance issues, budget monitoring, and general accounting practices. Finance knowledge, analytical ability, and good interpersonal skills. Solid customer service skills with ability to interact with all members of the campus community. Proficiency in Word and Excel, and the College's computerized accounting system.
