The Grants Administrative Assistant serves as a vital support pillar for the Kaw Nation's Grants & Contracts team, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of federal funding operations. Reporting to the Grants & Contracts Director with oversight from the Chair, this role is essential for maintaining compliance, managing financial reporting, and facilitating the lifecycle of tribal grants and contracts.
In this fast-paced environment, you will partner closely with the Director and grant staff to execute all grant-related duties. Your day-to-day involves managing the internal grants monitoring system, assisting with proposal development and portal management, and preparing critical award documentation. A key component of the position is the timely completion of federal financial reporting and the dissemination of monthly financials to program employees.
