About the Role
In this position, you will manage the financial aspects of our grant portfolio, ensuring precision and accuracy in all financial records. You will serve as a key liaison between program staff and external stakeholders, interpreting grant agreements to ensure compliance with all financial conditions and regulations. Your day-to-day will involve preparing and submitting timely financial reports to grantors, conducting regular account reconciliations, and coordinating with external auditors. Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage all financial aspects of grant administration, including budgeting and audit coordination
- check_circlePrepare and submit timely financial reports to grantors ensuring compliance with requirements
- check_circleReview and interpret grant agreements to ensure financial conditions and regulations are met
- check_circleMaintain comprehensive records of all grant transactions and contracts
- check_circleEnsure accurate and timely entry of grant information into the accounting system
- check_circleLiaise with external auditors to provide necessary information and documentation
- check_circleConduct regular reconciliations of grant accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies
- check_circleMonitor and analyze grant expenses to ensure alignment with approved budgets
- check_circleCollaborate with program staff to develop budgets for grant proposals

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- verifiedMinimum of 5 years experience in grant accounting or related role
- verifiedSolid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- verifiedProven experience with contracts
- verifiedProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills
