About the Team
6C Neuro Stroke Center is a specialized unit dedicated to stroke care, neurological care, neurosurgery, and the treatment of acutely ill medical patients. Our team works hand-in-hand across a multidisciplinary landscape to provide excellent, tailored care. We frequently treat patients with strokes, seizures, lumbar laminectomies, spinal cord injuries, and brain tumors. The unit features two continuous seizure monitoring rooms designed to customize treatment for each individual's unique needs.
About the Role
As a Graduate Nurse or Experienced RN on our team, you will utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care while maintaining professional accountability for your assigned patients. Your role involves evaluating the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinating patient care in conjunction with other departments. You will uphold patient rights and ensure the confidentiality of patient information, performing all duties in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards.
