The Billing and Collections Analyst 2 is a highly visible role critical to the execution of Draper's important national security and defense contracts. You will play a key part in invoicing, collections, contract closeouts, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with little supervision to meet tight deadlines.
In this role, you will independently apply accounting principles to prepare Government and Commercial Bills across various cost types, including Cost Types, Time and Material, Firm Fixed Price, and Performance Based Payments. You will investigate and resolve reconciliation issues, reevaluate billing terms for appropriateness, and monitor customer interaction documentation to support collections activities. Success in this position involves collaborating effectively with internal partners such as Business Analysts, Contracts, General Ledger, Accounts Payables, and Programs to support customer invoice requests by established deadlines.
