Gopuff Delivery Drivers bring everyday essentials directly to their communities from a convenient, central facility. Unlike traditional delivery models, this role eliminates restaurant waits and long-distance driving across town. Drivers simply pick up orders and go, delivering items such as snacks, drinks, cleaning supplies, home goods, and OTC medications.
This position is designed for flexibility, allowing individuals to work part-time, seasonally, or as a temporary source of extra income. No previous delivery or courier experience is required to get started.
The workflow is streamlined through the Gopuff Driver app. Drivers log in at their local facility, pick up orders directly from inside the building, and deliver to nearby customers. The process is designed for speed and efficiency, ensuring drivers get paid fast.
Drivers enjoy guaranteed upfront pay for every order, even if a customer cancels. Additionally, drivers keep 100% of their tips. Earnings can be boosted through various incentives and promotions. In many markets, drivers can earn "Wait Pay" by scheduling specific delivery blocks.
To participate, drivers must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid U.S. driver's license. A reliable vehicle with insurance and registration in the driver's name, along with a smartphone, is required. A background check is mandatory, and an alcohol delivery training may be required depending on the local area.
Delivery Driver Partners operate as independent contractors. As such, partners are responsible for their own vehicle, insurance, and smartphone with a data/text plan. While prior experience is not required, Gopuff encourages drivers from other delivery, gig, or ridesharing services to apply.
