At LifeBridge Health, our mission is simple but powerful: To improve the health of people in the communities we serve. Levindale Hospital is a 330-bed post-acute care facility offering long-term care, rehabilitation, and specialty services designed to help patients achieve the highest possible quality of life.
LifeBridge Health is a dynamic, purpose-driven health system anchored by our mission to improve community health. With over 14,000 employees and 130 care locations, we combine strategic growth and innovation with a deep commitment to the mid-Atlantic region. Our organization thrives on a culture of CARE BRAVELY—where compassion, courage, and urgency drive every decision, empowering teams to shape the future of healthcare.
The Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA I) provides safe, compassionate, and resident-centered care while assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and supporting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Under the direction of licensed nursing staff, you will help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment while promoting each resident's highest level of independence.
In our Household Units, you play a vital role in creating a home-like atmosphere. You will develop meaningful relationships with residents, understanding their individual preferences, routines, and care needs. This unique model creates a true home-like environment where residents receive personalized, relationship-based care in comfortable neighborhoods designed to promote dignity, independence, and well-being.
Levindale's Household Units provide long-term care services within a unique resident-centered environment. Each household consists of 14 private resident rooms designed to feel more like a home than a traditional nursing unit. Features include private bedrooms, a central kitchen where meals may be prepared daily, comfortable living and dining areas, and dedicated laundry facilities.
Households 5 and 6 support residents with dementia and other cognitive challenges. Staff assigned to these units must be attentive to resident safety, understand dementia care principles, and follow secured unit protocols, including badge-access procedures.
Join a team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults. You will work in a unique Household Model designed around dignity and personalized care, developing meaningful relationships with residents and families. We offer paid training and orientation, continuing education opportunities, and career advancement pathways within LifeBridge Health.
