About the Role
We are seeking a GIS Test Lead to drive quality assurance for critical geospatial applications and enterprise integrations. This 6-month remote role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability of utility industry platforms, specifically within the electrical and gas sectors. The position focuses on the full testing lifecycle, from strategy and planning to defect governance and reporting, supporting large-scale cloud modernization and platform upgrades.
Day in the Life
As the lead, you will orchestrate testing activities for complex GIS workflows, utilizing tools like ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online. Your day involves coordinating with business stakeholders, product owners, and developers to ensure comprehensive test coverage. You will manage the defect lifecycle, lead root-cause analysis, and mentor junior QA team members to promote best practices in quality engineering. Additionally, you will validate REST APIs and data pipelines within modern DevOps and CI/CD delivery pipelines.
