Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible G.I. Hospitalist physician to join a collaborative medical community. This role offers a supportive, patient-centered environment where you can practice G.I. with access to advanced technology and the ability to shape your own practice while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
You will join a robust team consisting of another G.I. Hospitalist, four outpatient G.I. physicians, and two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) dedicated to supporting the hospitalists. The team benefits from EUS support provided by an advanced G.I. physician within the group, ensuring comprehensive care for an inpatient census of approximately 15-20 patients.
This position is designed for a physician who practices ERCP, offering a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality care in a facility committed to meeting the needs of the community. The role involves ensuring that all patient care meets or exceeds the facility's quality standards while supporting the hospital's mission to deliver health care to those in need.\n The position features a 7-on/7-off schedule, allowing for significant flexibility. The hospital utilizes the EPIC electronic health record system, which is integrated throughout all hospital and practice locations, facilitating seamless workflow and data management.
