Join a premier, physician-led, multi-specialty group in San Diego where clinical excellence meets coastal living. This opening is for a General Ophthalmologist to join a team offering services across 7 site locations within the South Bay. The role focuses on general ophthalmology, managing new consults, follow-ups, and office-based surgery or minor procedures.
You will work in a collaborative environment supported by a robust infrastructure, including a lead RN, triage RN, LVNs, and a 1:1 Provider/MA ratio at all clinics. The position offers a user-friendly 4-day workweek schedule with an average patient load of 23-25 patients per clinic day. General ophthalmology call is taken on a rotating basis, approximately one week at a time for 3-4 weeks per year. Fellows joining the team are expected to become board-certified within their first two years of employment.
