About the Role
As a Specialty Sales Team Leader, you will lead a team of consultants to create an Easy, Inspiring, and Friendly guest experience. No two days are ever the same, but your role involves blending completion of tasks with a focus on people. You will plan daily and weekly workloads to support business priorities, lead multiple businesses while balancing team expertise, and hold team members accountable for delivering on Target's guest experience commitments.
You will actively observe and provide feedback, recognizing great moments while coaching team members to model a service culture that prioritizes the guest. Your day will include developing a team of knowledgeable and passionate consultants, assigning tasks based on guest traffic patterns, and partnering with vendors to ensure brand standards are met. You will also support visual merchandising, backroom organization, and safety compliance, occasionally assuming store-level leadership responsibilities to enable the guest experience during assigned shifts.
