About the Role
As the General Manager for our Moe's Southwest Grill, you will be the heartbeat of the restaurant, responsible for managing daily operations and ensuring every guest leaves with a 100% satisfaction rating. Your mission is to optimize profits through strategic financial management and to cultivate a team culture known in the community as "the place to work."
You will oversee the development of managers, shift leaders, and team members, providing direction on operational and procedural issues while adhering to "The Moe's Way." From managing food flow to ensure high-quality products and low waste, to enforcing strict sanitary practices and maintaining high scores on health and corporate inspections, your leadership directly impacts the restaurant's success. You will also drive community engagement through spirit nights and local involvement, serving as a positive representative of Sterling Restaurants.
Working Environment
This position requires a dynamic leader capable of handling the pressures of coordinating a wide range of activities simultaneously. You will supervise a team of 15-25 members, manage financial reporting, and ensure a safe working environment for both guests and employees. While the role involves physical demands such as prolonged standing and lifting, it is designed for those with strong initiative, self-discipline, and excellent communication skills.
