About the Team

The Providence Heart Institute of Montana is a globally recognized practice offering full vascular, cardiac, and thoracic interventions. Located on the campus of Missoula's Providence St. Patrick Hospital, the institute is home to a highly skilled team of 14 Cardiologists and 3 Cardiothoracic Surgeons. Ranked as one of the Top 50 Cardiovascular programs by Truven Health, the institute hosts the annual Rocky Mountain Valve Symposium, drawing heart specialists from around the world for workshops and training in new procedures. The hospital itself is a 253-bed Level II trauma center that has received the Premier Award for quality for Acute Myocardial Infarction and the Gold Seal of Approval for Stroke Centers.

About the Role

We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified General Cardiologist to join this top-notch team. This position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient care within a consultant service model supported by 24-hour Hospitalist coverage. The role includes reading echocardiograms (including TEE) and offers opportunities to engage in Cardiac CT. The schedule is designed for a desirable Monday to Friday routine with 4/10-hour shifts and a 1:7 call schedule once fully staffed, along with one designated outreach clinic location.
