We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified General Cardiologist to join this highly skilled team. This role is designed for a motivated and compassionate physician with an excellent background in training and clinical experience. The position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient work, with cardiology functioning primarily as a consultant service supported by 24-hour Hospitalist coverage. The ideal candidate will have formal training and expertise in echocardiography, with a nuclear cardiology background as a plus.
The day-to-day responsibilities include reading echos (including TEE), with dedicated imaging days for echos, nuclear studies, and CT, as well as dedicated TEE days. You will manage a clinic of 12–16 patients daily and have the opportunity to develop specialty clinics in areas such as cardio-oncology, women's cardiology, or hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The schedule is designed for a desirable Monday-to-Friday routine with 4/10-hour shifts and a 1:7 call burden once fully staffed, featuring minimal call requirements that are essentially telephone-based after hours. Full Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support is available weekdays and weekends, with the APP serving as the first on-call provider during the week.
