We are seeking a mid-career, non-invasive cardiologist with advanced cardiac imaging training to serve as the Section Head for Cardiac Imaging at the University of Colorado. Based at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus—the state's only academic medical center—this academic leadership role focuses on advancing a high-impact multimodality imaging program.
The position encompasses leadership across clinical care, research, and education. You will have the opportunity to drive program development, mentor faculty, and foster academic growth. This effort is bolstered by a $30 million philanthropic investment aimed at establishing CU Anschutz as a national leader in advanced cardiac imaging.
Your time will be split approximately 60% clinical and 40% administrative, teaching, and research, with flexibility based on your specific interests. You will lead and oversee a multimodality cardiac imaging program (including echo, nuclear, CT, and MRI) in close collaboration with Radiology. As a key liaison between Cardiology and UCHealth/University of Colorado Hospital, you will supervise sub-directors and report to the Division Head. The role also involves expanding cardiac imaging research, faculty, and training programs.
