About the Team
Baylor College of Medicine at CHRISTUS Children's is seeking a faculty member for the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Gastroenterology. The division specializes in Motility Disorders and is home to the Voelker Clinical Research Center, which supports faculty pursuing clinical research. Notably, the division established the first of its kind Advanced Endoscopy fellowship and has successfully trained five fellows.
About the Role
This full-time faculty position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. The role combines clinical excellence with academic leadership. Clinical responsibilities include providing outpatient care for children with intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders, as well as inpatient care, consultation services, and emergency room coverage. The incumbent will also perform general pediatric gastrointestinal procedures, such as upper endoscopy and colonoscopy with related therapeutic procedures.
Beyond patient care, the faculty member is expected to supervise and educate medical students, residents, and fellows in Gastroenterology, contributing to the division's robust training mission.
