About the Team
Baylor College of Medicine at CHRISTUS Children's is seeking a faculty member for the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Gastroenterology. The division specializes in Motility Disorders and is home to the Voelker Clinical Research Center, which supports faculty pursuing clinical research. Notably, the division established the first of its kind Advanced Endoscopy fellowship and has successfully trained five fellows.
About the Role
This full-time faculty position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. The role combines clinical excellence with academic leadership. Clinical responsibilities include providing ambulatory and inpatient care, as well as consultative services for children with intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders. The incumbent will also perform general pediatric gastrointestinal procedures, such as upper endoscopy and colonoscopy with related therapeutic procedures.
A core component of this position is the supervision and education of medical students, residents, and fellows in Gastroenterology. The successful candidate will contribute to the ongoing success of the division's educational programs and research initiatives.
