About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) Gastroenterologist to join our expanding practice on the Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital campus in Sumter. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a vibrant mid-sized community.
The position provides a balanced day-to-day experience, splitting responsibilities between inpatient hospitalist duties and outpatient care. You will deliver comprehensive gastroenterology and hepatology services, including consultations and general endoscopy procedures such as EGDs and colonoscopies. The role is supported daily by advanced practice providers (APPs) and utilizes the EPIC EMR system. Additionally, the practice is part of a network that includes access to a Prisma Health Advanced Endoscopy referral center located just 45 minutes away.
