We are seeking a highly motivated and well-organized Lead Estimator/Proposal Specialist to join the US Technical Sales Team within Grid Technologies Services. This role serves as a critical front-line support function for Service bids, tenders, proposals, and offers related to GIS (Gas-Insulated Switchgear) and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) projects, primarily in brownfield environments.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with Siemens Energy sales teams, account managers, Business Unit Sales, and other internal units to develop comprehensive proposals for equipment maintenance contracts, construction, and operation and maintenance contracts for substations. Our service offerings center on transmission substations, covering key component maintenance, entire substation upkeep, and turnkey business solutions, including transformer and breaker maintenance, GIS/AIS maintenance, and LTSA for substations and their assets.
Your day will involve working with marketing to influence efforts that support sales activities and supporting leadership in collecting voice-of-customer data to advance new product development and service offerings. You will also ensure the proper utilization of our CRM (Salesforce) to drive strategy and scope alignment.
