Facilities Planning within Engineering Services is seeking a Gas Facilities Planning Engineer to join the Gas Facilities Planning Division (GFPD). This division comprises three groups: Gas Group, NGL and Unconventional Group, and Master Plans & Major Studies Group. The team is responsible for the development and coordination of the capital program throughout the Company.
In this role, you will lead the development of business case evaluations, master planning, and project design basis scoping. You will conduct special techno-economic studies to identify new capital investment opportunities and guide Gas & NGL capital projects from feasibility assessment to full funding. This includes scope of work development, economic justification, and value improvement initiatives.
You will lead Integrated Project Teams (IPT) for major projects with budgets exceeding $100 million during study and scoping phases. Additionally, you will develop Gas & NGL scopes for major crude, gas, refining, and chemical programs, perform engineering studies to establish economic viability, and review project specifications to ensure conformance with scope. The role also involves developing executive-level briefings and mentoring Gas and NGL Planning engineers.
