IAP World Services, a division of Intrepid Global Solutions, is a recognized leader in Facilities Management and Operations supporting Defense, Intelligence, and National Security missions. Under a major Intelligence Community contract, the team operates and maintains facilities, systems, and grounds across Virginia and Maryland. As the Furniture Coordinator, you will focus on Operations and Maintenance (O&M) repair and configuration activities that impact furniture movement and layout. This role is critical for maintaining the functionality of established offices, ensuring that furniture moves and configurations are executed seamlessly without disrupting daily operations.
Your day-to-day work involves coordinating with external vendors to schedule and oversee furniture deliveries, ensuring items arrive in good condition. You will act as the bridge between the logistics team, vendors, and government stakeholders, tracking Purchase Orders through government systems like Genesis and managing the final delivery from the loading dock to customer workspaces. Additionally, you will interface with customers to understand minor renovation requirements and coordinate with IT components for necessary disconnects or reconnections. In this capacity, you will provide technical counsel on vendor work scopes and alert the government to any issues requiring their decision or input.
