Fund Associate

About the Role

This position is designed as a career-fast-track opportunity for a professional seeking a fresh start. The successful candidate will be expected to be promoted quickly, taking on significant responsibility within the fund accounting function. You will lead the fund accountant team, driving optimal efficiencies by reviewing processes and leveraging accounting system capabilities. Your work will directly impact the integrity of the monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring all related support and control documentation is completed accurately and on time.

In this hybrid role, you will serve as a key liaison between the internal team, limited partners, and external auditors. You will prepare and review expense allocations, capital call and distribution allocations, and investor notifications to ensure strict compliance with limited partnership agreements. Additionally, you will coordinate with public accounting firms to plan interim reviews and year-end audits, responding to inquiries and participating in technical discussions regarding investment fund transactions.
