Johnson County Mental Health is hiring a Licensed Master's Level Clinician to join the Family Focus program. This role is dedicated to providing clinical services to justice-involved youth, ages 12-18, who have been referred by the Department of Corrections and diagnosed with severe emotional disabilities (SED), alongside their families.
The primary goal of this position is to maintain severely emotionally disturbed youth in the most natural, least restrictive setting possible through the delivery of Functional Family Therapy (FFT). Services will primarily take place in the youth and families' homes, with an office location in Olathe. The schedule requires evening availability to meet the needs of the children served, typically ranging from 10 am to 7 pm. This team utilizes FFT as the primary mode of treatment, offering a dynamic environment where you can make a tangible difference in the lives of families navigating complex challenges.
Johnson County has implemented a skill-based pay plan of up to $4,200 annually for staff who have obtained licensure by the BSRB at the Clinical Level.
This position will remain open until filled. Applicants who meet Kansas licensure requirements may be considered if licensure is obtained by the time of an employment offer and is pending confirmation at the time of application.
