The Cleveland Orchestra seeks individuals to join the Front of House Event Team at Severance Music Center. These front-facing roles are dedicated to delivering unparalleled experiences to guests attending concerts and events. Team members play a vital role in creating a welcoming and memorable atmosphere, working alongside the Guest Experience team and fellow Event Staff to ensure every visitor feels comfortable, excited, and informed.
This seasonal, part-time position runs from June through September, with the opportunity to become a member of the year-round Front of House Event Team. The role averages 5-15 hours per week based on the event schedule. Event Staff are cross-trained in various positions, including Ticket Takers, Floor Coordinators, Directors/Greeters, Elevator Operators, Coat Check Attendants, and Door Attendants.
You will be responsible for greeting and assisting guests throughout the venue, answering questions about the building or performances, and maintaining a warm, professional, and personal experience for every guest. The role requires learning Severance Music Center's procedures, operations, and emergency protocols, as well as remaining on duty through the conclusion of events to assist guests during egress and thank them for visiting.
