Front-End Engineer II – Digital Servicing

Our platform group empowers a Fortune 200 company by creating eye-popping, user-friendly, and super intuitive online applications.

We are looking for individuals ready to be disruptive and interesting in the commerce space. This is a place where you can bring ideas to our Stamford Innovation Station, participate in hack-a-thons, and partner with universities on innovation events. You will help define what Software Engineering means here and how it can affect the entire industry.

About the Role

You will work hand-in-hand with our User Experience team to build amazing web applications. As a coder who is also a problem solver, you will create elegant, testable code that is robust and scalable. You will own your career and destiny, working with product, marketing, and project management as one agile team to influence and collaborate on creating an amazing online experience.

This role is ideal for those who value results and have the tech chops to drive innovation. You will analyze production defects, troubleshoot systems, and work with third-party vendors to integrate software into our products. It is the ideal time to come aboard and make your mark in a culture that values common sense and thoughtful design.

We are proud to offer flexibility. At Synchrony, our way of working allows you the option to work from home near one of our Hubs or come into one of our offices. You will be required to commute to your nearest Hub (either virtual or physical) for in-person engagement activities such as regular business or team meetings, training, and culture events.
