At UNI Urgent Care, we operate on a shared commitment to health: you and I are responsible for our own well-being. Our providers vow to treat every patient individually with respect, utilizing the best and most up-to-date standards of medical care. We believe in a true partnership where the patient and the provider are a team. Our goal is to ensure patients understand that while we are trained to evaluate ailments and prescribe medications, they hold the responsibility to provide accurate symptom information and follow through on medical instructions.
This position serves as a vital support pillar for our medical team. You will assist physicians, nurses, and other staff by managing essential administrative duties that keep our clinic running smoothly. Your day will involve greeting patients and guiding them through the check-in process, verifying insurance coverage, and handling payments with precision. You will be the first point of contact for phone inquiries, directing calls to the appropriate lines or personnel, while also managing the flow of physical mail and maintaining an organized patient filing system. From transcription and faxing to photocopying, you will perform a variety of clerical receptionist duties in a fast-paced environment.
