Position Purpose
Associates in Freight and Receiving roles are the backbone of store readiness, ensuring shelves are stocked and the store is prepared for business every day. These positions encompass a variety of titles, including Freight Team Associate, Freight Team Lead, Receiving Associate, and Receiving Support.
The role involves loading and unloading trucks, moving materials from the receiving area throughout the store, and operating forklifts where applicable. Team members also perform critical functions to maintain proper inventory levels and accurate pricing for customers. Because direct customer interaction is frequently required, excellent customer service skills are essential for success in these positions.
