About the Role
This position is designed to keep freight moving efficiently within the dock area. You will be responsible for transporting cargo to and from trailers, ensuring that loading and unloading processes are executed safely and accurately. The role serves as a critical link in the logistics chain, requiring a blend of physical capability, attention to detail, and operational awareness.
Working Environment
You will operate in a dynamic dock environment that is often fast-paced and deadline-oriented. The setting involves exposure to varied weather conditions, exhaust, fumes, dust, and noise. The role requires frequent interaction with service center personnel and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Hours may vary based on operational needs, with shifts typically running from 04:00 to 10:00 or 17:00 to 23:00.

Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- verifiedMust be at least 18 years of age
- verifiedPrior experience in warehousing, freight handling, and/or forklift operations (preferred)
- verifiedAbility to count and perform basic math
- verifiedBasic written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in warehousing, freight handling, and/or forklift operations. Experience with hostler/yard mule duties if required. Previous dock/warehouse experience.
