The Role
This position serves as a vital partner to the Distribution Supervisor, ensuring the seamless fulfillment of customer orders within our warehouse and distribution center. You will be the backbone of our shipping and receiving operations, managing the physical flow of goods from inbound trailers to outbound delivery.
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of material handling and operational precision. You will utilize RF handhelds to fulfill orders, stack shipping pallets to maximize stability, and load and unload trailers safely according to strict safety policies. Beyond the physical tasks, you are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment in adherence to our 5S system, performing routine equipment maintenance, and ensuring all paperwork is accurately recorded.
As a key member of the team, you may also be called upon to train new or existing employees on safety and company policies, adapt to new procedures that enhance efficiency, and effectively utilize downtime to support housekeeping or audit tasks.
