Located at The Resort at Kapalua Bay in Maui, this Food and Beverage & Culinary position is a vital part of our non-management team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will ensure the seamless operation of our service areas by managing closing duties, including storing reusable goods, breaking down inventory, and completing daily cleaning checklists. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve setting up and maintaining work areas, inspecting china, glass, and silver prior to use, and practicing clean-as-you-go procedures throughout the shift.
Beyond operational tasks, you will be the face of our hospitality. You are expected to welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, communicate with clear and professional language, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette. This role requires developing positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting the team to reach common goals, and responding appropriately to the concerns of others. You will also uphold strict safety and security policies, report any accidents or unsafe conditions, and maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information.
To apply for this position, please submit your application through the official Marriott International careers portal. The hiring team will review your qualifications and reach out to selected candidates to discuss the next steps in the interview process.
