Getting Started
We are committed to supporting you through every step of the process. To begin, you will complete the Direct Support Worker (DSW) training, which is provided free of charge with full support. If you do not currently hold a CPR and First Aid certification, we will assist you in finding a course. Once you are at least 18 years old and have passed a background check, you can start your journey as a paid caregiver, provided your friend or family member is enrolled or eligible for ALTCS.
