Getting Started
To begin your journey as a Direct Support Worker (DSW), you will need to complete a few key steps. We are committed to supporting you through this process:
- Free Training: Complete the Direct Support Worker (DSW) training, fully supported by our team.
- Certification: Obtain CPR and First Aid certification (we will help you find a course if needed).
- Eligibility: Be at least 18 years old and pass a background check.
- Program Enrollment: Ensure your friend or family member is enrolled or eligible for the ALTCS program.
Once these steps are complete, you can step into a role that blends personal connection with professional responsibility, offering companionship, emotional support, and assistance with daily activities like bathing, dressing, meals, and light chores.
