Stand Out Home Care invites individuals across Arizona who are already supporting friends or family members with daily tasks to explore becoming paid caregivers through the ALTCS (Arizona Long Term Care System) program. This initiative is designed for those who wish to continue caring for loved ones while earning income, transforming existing support into a professional role.
This role offers a unique blend of personal fulfillment and financial opportunity. You can earn income while caring for someone you already love and support, with flexible scheduling that fits your life. No prior caregiving experience is required to get started.
To begin your journey as a caregiver, you will need to complete the Direct Support Worker (DSW) training, which is provided free of charge with full support. Additionally, you must be at least 18 years old, pass a background check, and hold CPR and First Aid certification (assistance is available to find a course if needed). A key requirement is that the friend or family member you wish to care for must be enrolled in or eligible for the ALTCS program.
In this role, you will provide essential assistance with bathing, dressing, meals, reminders, and light chores. Beyond physical tasks, you will offer companionship and emotional support, serving as a trusted, caring presence in your loved one's life. This is more than a job—it is a chance to make a real difference for someone close to you while gaining valuable experience.
