Getting Started

We provide full support to help you transition into this role. New caregivers will complete the Direct Support Worker (DSW) training at no cost. If you do not currently hold a CPR and First Aid certification, we will assist you in finding a course. All candidates must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check. Additionally, the individual you wish to care for must be enrolled in or eligible for the ALTCS program.

Your Impact

As a paid caregiver, you will serve as a trusted, caring presence in your loved one's life. Your daily responsibilities include assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing and dressing, preparing meals, providing reminders, and handling light chores. Beyond the physical tasks, you will offer essential companionship and emotional support, strengthening the bond you already share.
