Getting Started

To become a Direct Support Worker (DSW), candidates must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check. We provide full support to help you meet all necessary qualifications:

• Complete Direct Support Worker (DSW) training (free and fully supported).
• Obtain CPR and First Aid certification (we will help you find a course if needed).
• Ensure your friend or family member is enrolled or eligible for ALTCS.

Once these steps are completed, you will step into a trusted, caring presence in your loved one's life, offering companionship, emotional support, and assistance with daily activities like bathing, dressing, meals, and light chores.
