Getting Started
To begin your journey as a caregiver, you will need to complete the following steps:
- Training: Complete the Direct Support Worker (DSW) training, which is free and fully supported by our team.
- Certification: Obtain CPR and First Aid certification. If you need assistance finding a course, we will help you locate one.
- Eligibility: Be at least 18 years old and pass a background check.
- Program Enrollment: Ensure your friend or family member is enrolled (or eligible) for ALTCS.
