Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies. With operations across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske and its associates help businesses move forward by increasing visibility and driving down supply-chain costs. We are proud to haul freight for some of the world's leading brands, representing not just our own yellow trucks, but also the branded trucks and uniforms of our clients.
As a Full-time Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will join a team of professionals committed to delivering products safely and on time. This role involves traveling regionally to various locations to perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to retail stores. You will be responsible for unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, as well as scanning products as they are delivered.
You will drive late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. While dispatch times vary depending on the work assignment, you can expect to be away from home for 2 to 3 weeks per assignment, with the opportunity to return home every weekend. This position requires a Hazmat endorsement, which must be acquired within 30 days of the hire date.
When you drive for Penske, you are on the move with a stable, nationwide company known for having the best equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record. We offer tons of training opportunities, and with locations across the nation, you can also move to a new city. We pay every Friday and are committed to building relationships with your accounts through incredible customer service.
To join our team, you must complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and undergo a drug screening. This role is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive; therefore, the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
