Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies. With operations spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske and its associates help businesses move forward by increasing visibility and driving down supply-chain costs. We are more than just the yellow trucks; we are a team of professional drivers committed to delivering products safely and on time for some of the world's leading brands.
As a Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will represent both Penske and your clients, often driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms. This role is designed for drivers ready to put their careers in high gear, offering a stable path with a nationwide company known for excellent equipment, great management, and a fantastic safety record.
You will drive late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. Your day-to-day involves traveling regionally to various locations, performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships, and unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages. You will also use scanners to track products as they are delivered.
This position requires a flexible schedule where dispatch times vary by assignment. Drivers can expect to be away from home for 1 to 3 weeks per assignment, traveling to and working from a specific location for the duration of that assignment. We pay every Friday and offer tons of training opportunities, allowing you to move to a new city as your career grows.
To join the team, you must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes a review of past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. The role is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive, requiring the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
