Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies. With operations spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske and its associates help businesses move forward by increasing visibility and driving down supply-chain costs.
When you join Penske, you join a team of professional truck drivers committed to delivering products safely and on time. We are proud to haul freight for some of the world's leading brands. You will be representing both Penske and your clients, often driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms while building relationships through incredible customer service.
As a Full-time Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will travel regionally to work at various locations, performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. This role is designed for drivers who want to put their career in high gear with a stable, nationwide company known for having the best equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record.
You will drive late-model Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. Your day-to-day involves unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, as well as using scanners to track products as they are delivered.
Drivers can expect to be away from home for 1 to 3 weeks per assignment, traveling to an assigned location to work for the duration of that assignment. Dispatch times will vary depending on the work assignment. With locations across the nation, this role offers the opportunity to move to a new city as your career progresses.
To join the team, candidates must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. The role is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive; therefore, the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
