Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies. With operations spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske and its associates help businesses move forward by increasing visibility and driving down supply-chain costs.
When you join Penske, you join a team of professional truck drivers committed to delivering products safely and on time. We are proud to haul freight for some of the world's leading brands. It is more than just driving yellow trucks; it is about incredible customer service and building relationships with your accounts. When you drive for Penske, you represent both the company and your clients, often driving their branded trucks and wearing their uniforms.
As a Full-time Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will travel regionally to work at various locations as needed, performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. This role is designed for those ready to put their career in high gear. You will be on the move with Penske, and so will your career, with tons of training opportunities available and locations across the nation allowing you to move to a new city if desired.
You will drive late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety. These vehicles feature inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure the safety of all. Your day will involve unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, as well as using scanners to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.
The schedule is dynamic, with dispatch times varying depending on the work assignment. Drivers can expect to be away from home for 2-3 weeks per assignment, traveling to an assigned location to work from there for the duration of the work. We pay every Friday, offering a stable, nationwide career path known for great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record.
To join the team, you must complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and undergo a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive, requiring the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
