As a Full-time Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will travel regionally to work at various locations as needed. Your primary focus will be performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. This role involves unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, as well as using scanners to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.
You will drive late-model Penske maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. Dispatch times will vary depending on your work assignment. Drivers can expect to be away from home for 1 to 3 weeks per assignment, traveling to an assigned location to work for the duration of that assignment.
To join our team, you must complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and undergo a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive by the company. Associates must have the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner, accepting responsibility for their own safety as well as the safety of others.
