About the Role
As a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic at our Crafton, PA location, you will be the backbone of our commercial fleet operations. You will maintain and repair a diverse range of vehicles, including diesel and compressed natural gas tractor-trailer trucks, gasoline service trucks, reefers, and vans. Your work ensures that our distribution centers remain fully operational and our shelves stay stocked.
In this role, you will respond to road calls, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and perform comprehensive preventative maintenance on all fleet vehicles to meet Department of Transportation specifications. From installing and repairing refrigerants and ventilation systems to conducting state and DOT inspections, your expertise keeps our fleet safe and compliant. You will also utilize hand, power, and pneumatic tools to execute repairs on engines, clutches, transmissions, brakes, and more, while maintaining accurate records in our fleet maintenance software.
