As a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer, you will be the face of Penske—the person greeting our customers when they arrive and the one sending them off with a smile. Your mission is to ensure vehicles are fueled, clean, and safe before they hit the road again, making sure customers have a great experience as you work.
This role is designed for those who may have always had an interest in vehicle maintenance but haven't had the chance to pursue it. It is the perfect place to start. You will be introduced to vehicle maintenance processes and trained on leading-edge technology. The training and experience you gain here are designed to help you advance to become a technician. To join the team, candidates must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background screening, which includes criminal checks, past employment, and education verification. The position is regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and designated as safety-sensitive. Selected associates must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam as required by the DOT. This includes maintaining a current driver qualification file, which requires an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records from prior employers. CDL holders will also undergo a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of their start date.
