Hiring Process & Requirements
To join our team, candidates must be willing to complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background screening (including criminal checks, past employment, and education), and pass a drug screen and physical as required by the Department of Transportation. This position is regulated by the DOT and designated as safety-sensitive; therefore, the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
Associates must be able to accept responsibility for their own safety as well as the safety of others. The role requires regular, predictable, full attendance and the ability to work the required schedule at the specific location. For those driving Penske and customer vehicles, a current driver qualification file must be maintained, including an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records from prior employers.
