Hiring Process & Requirements
To join the team, candidates must be willing to complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background screening (including criminal checks, past employment, and education), and pass a drug screen and physical as required by the Department of Transportation.
Because this position is regulated by the Department of Transportation, a current driver qualification file must be maintained. This includes an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records from prior employers in the last 3 years. CDL holders will also undergo a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and are subject to an FMCSA Clearinghouse review.
The role requires the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Associates must be willing to work the required schedule at the specific location (2526 N Neergard Ave, Springfield, MO) and may be required to travel within a near geography for training.
