You will perform vehicle readiness inspections, help maintain clean and safe facilities, and build your skills through hands-on coaching to perform minor repairs, such as installing and rotating tires and performing preventive maintenance.

Hiring Process & Requirements
This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and designated as safety-sensitive. To be considered, candidates must be willing to complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background screening (including criminal checks, past employment, and education), and pass a drug screen and physical as required by the DOT.
The driver qualification file must be maintained, which includes an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records from prior employers in the last three years. CDL holders will also undergo a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of their start date and are subject to an FMCSA Clearinghouse review.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner, accepting responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others. The role requires regular, predictable, full attendance and the willingness to work the required schedule at the specific location in Corpus Christi, TX, with potential travel within a near geography for training.
