System Transport has been hauling what builds America since 1972. We combine the resources of a large organization with the close-knit feel of a small company. Our mission is to keep the country running by transporting essential goods and materials, including glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. We pride ourselves on being "America Proud, Flatbed Strong," fostering a culture where drivers are treated like family and safety is paramount.
This opportunity is for a Recent CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver based in Division 272, operating out of the Denver, CO terminal. You will be driving regional routes, typically returning home for the weekend. As a flatbed driver, you will be responsible for transporting heavy and specialized cargo, which includes tarping loads approximately 70% of the time.
We are currently offering a special training initiative through June 30, 2026. If you are a recent CDL-A graduate with no prior experience, we will train you to start your driving career. For those with experience, you will join a team that values safety and support, utilizing the newest flatbed trucks equipped with cutting-edge technologies like lane departure warnings and forward-collision systems. Our maintenance standards ensure that no truck leaves the shop until it is 100% ready for the road.
Our drivers describe System Transport as a place that offers a solid "family feel" with reliable support. Drivers appreciate the company's commitment to safety, noting that help is always available for load securement questions. Many have grown with the company, transitioning from company drivers to trainers or even owner-operators, citing the supportive environment and the opportunity to build a long-term career as key reasons for staying.
To join our team, you must possess a valid Class A CDL and be at least 21 years old. Recent CDL-A graduates are encouraged to apply for our training program, while experienced drivers should have a safe driving record and no more than six jobs in the last three years. All applicants must pass a background check, a clean drug test, and a clean Clearinghouse result. Additionally, flatbed drivers must be physically capable of lifting a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform, a requirement tested during orientation.
Qualified applicants can apply now to take advantage of our transition package, which includes orientation pay to help you focus on driving while we handle the rest. For more details on benefits and the application process, please visit our official resources.
System Transport is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to fair pay and equal opportunity for all employees, regardless of background.
