About the Role

The Division Manager will proactively manage overall operations for the West Ox Division of Fairfax Connector, based in Fairfax, VA. This position is pivotal in delivering safe and reliable service while overseeing employee management, contract assets, risk management, and financial performance. The role serves as the primary daily liaison between local management teams and the General Manager across multiple bus operations and maintenance facilities.

In this capacity, you will lead the development of driver assignments and fixed route transit operations, ensuring service reliability and compliance. You will champion a strong safety culture, establishing safety as a core value and top priority across all divisions. The day-to-day involves monitoring daily operations to ensure efficiency, developing resource allocation strategies, and leading transit-related projects and cross-functional teams to meet customer and public needs.
