As a Fundamental Research Group (FRG) Associate, you will work closely and collaborate with Fixed Income Investment Professionals and peers to deliver valuable insights. Your primary focus will be conducting bottom-up fundamental research and analysis that drives investment decisions. You will partner with investors on their coverage to help generate investment ideas and monitor holdings by conducting deep fundamental research on bond issuers.
Your day-to-day will involve financial analysis, drafting research notes, facilitating meetings with issuer stakeholders, sell-side firms, and industry specialists, and performing relative value comparisons. You will work on projects with growing complexity over time, receiving guidance and mentorship from experienced investment professionals. This role is designed for someone who is passionate about building a career in credit research and has a strong interest in corporate credit investing.
