This position serves as a trainee focused on learning the mechanics of sprinkler system installation. You will work alongside experienced Fire Sprinkler Technicians to achieve tasks necessary to complete work on job sites in a timely and effective manner. Under the close guidance of a Sprinkler Fitter, you will assist in cutting and threading pipe, as well as installing and testing fire sprinkler systems.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include site preparation, such as cleaning, unloading, staging, and distributing work materials. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for yourself, co-workers, and customers. This role is designed for individuals with transferable skills or prior industry experience who are eager to learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain necessary state licensing.
